To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

I listen to pretty much everthing. As far as punk, mostly older stuff like Minor Threat, Token Entry, Bad Brains, DRI, Gorilla Biscuits, Bad Religion, Verbal Abuse, 7 Seconds, and of course, Social Distortion.

Don't get ahold of much newer stuff. The latest I have: Flogging Molly (not really punk I guess), the Nobodys, Avail, No Redeeming Social Value, the Stuntmen, and REO Speeddealer (yes, before they had to change the name, so I guess it's not too new).

Ska: Bosstones, Mustard Plug, the Toasters, Mephaskaphelis

Don't really care for the Emo stuff I've heard, but the AFI track from Madden is pretty good.

I'm 29. I grew up on punk but I don't listen to it as much these days. I still love me some Minor Threat, Murphy's Law, Descendants, Dead Kennedys, and Bad Religion from time to time though.

Never got into any of the new radio-friendly pop-punk like Rancid, Greenday, Blink, and all that. It seems to me that those bands just go against the fundimentals of where punk originally came from.

I still listen to Circle Jerks, Black Flag, DK, NoMeansNo, Minor Threat and a few other bands, but those are the main ones.

Black Flag. Haha. I remember my mom, dad, and sister were all doing the family vacation thing one year. I was probably 11 or 12 years old I guess. We're just driving down the highway and I asked if I could put a tape in the cassete player. I put in Black Flag's Slip it In and turned up the volume. We got to the chorus of the title track and my mom flipped out and pulled the car over so she could give me a stern talking to. Good times.

"I havn't seen Op. Ivy mentioned."

I can't believe I forgot to mention them. Also forgot to mention Janitors Against Apartied who had the best logo ever (a variation of the Little Ceasar's mascot).

I almost forgot about the ******** Surfers, that would be a travesty. Gwar is fun too, but they are more metal, and don't really fit in to "punk". Their show was awesome, one of the best I have ever seen. I slept well that night.

You can just call me the Salaminizer. Ahhhh yes, those were the days.

In i can't get my head around you, the part that i liked most,m was Deep Inside Your Soul, Theres A Hole U don't Wanna See.

My favorite Punk song is probably "In my Head" by Black Flag. Or "My Politics" by NoMeansNo.

Lyrics?

http://www.lyricsstyle.com/n/nomeansno/mypolitics.html

I like my politics as it has great lyrics IMO

If any of you haven't heard NomeansNo, you gotta try some out. I have seen them about 5 times live. They used to have 2 drummers that seemed to share a brain, ever heard Quadruple bass drum?

I have seen mostly trendy pop music listed here.

How about Anti-Flag and Propaghandi?

BTW if you concider Green Day punk, you must die.

But in all actuality... doesn't it go, If you've heard of them anywhere but a Local show, they've sold out anyway?
