^^ why mix a semi-fine whisky with coke?

Better whiskies are meant for sipping out of a glass on the rocks

If you want a mix with coke stick to Jack Daniels or Yukon Jack

Tanqueray or Wild Turkey. BTW, anything with 'twist' in the title is for pussies.

Yeah, and Tanqueray is for whiggers and Wild turkey is for 13 year old redneck whores (see Katie).

I'm not too picky about my vodka, although I tend to prefer Finnish or Russian. They have a "clean" flavor to them that I like.

Vodka also, but it needs to be Grey Goose. Everything else tastes like rubbing alchohol at this point. Goose is very clean, you should give it a shot. It's french Vodka which makes no sense emphirically, but they definately got it right.

I actually had some a few weeks ago at a party. Yeah. It's pretty good. But it's French. There's just something wrong about that...

I'd like to add to those talking about nothing but getting slamed. As you'll hopefully discover once you get out of Highshool, drinking liquor is not purely about getting drunk. If you think that way, and continue to think that way through your adult life, you will be that smelly bum begging for "sandwich" money at the local corner store.

Check it - Gbaji and Smash almost agreed on something!

Personally I prefer Gin & Tonics, and Goldschlager :)

I'd say we agree, actually. I'd likely be fine with any top shelf vodka.

Let's face it, kiddies. Other than the more discriminating tastes of Smash and Gbaji the rest of you are drinking utter crap (with the exception of the gent who had some Johnny Walker Blue). If we want to have a discussion of good liquor, we can have that. But since most of you still work at McDonalds and can't afford quality booze y'all are ignorant about the true merits of a fine hooch.

Lemme know if you need a lesson, children.

<--- Doesn't work at McDonalds, isn't a kid, likes good alcohol, but knows there are much better things to spend money on. Which is why I drink vanilla rum & Sprite and spend the price difference between good & cheap alcohol on other things that are more important to me.

My bad, pickle. You needed to be included in there. However, the rest of these tobacco juice swilling Okies think that just because their older brother can buy them a fifth of comfort it makes them educated on what constitutes a good liquor.

Elitest? Sure. But better to be a snob and know what makes a good drink than to chug down crap thinking you have a grasp on fine drinking.

Hey, you wanna get shnockered? Fine. Just don't be singing the praises of mouse **** with an alcohol content.

Go back to sucking down Zimas, you bedwetting, panty wearing, snot nosed children.

Like I said, if you want a discussion-- nay, a lesson --of what makes a good drink, let me know. I can clue you in.

Haha, did I ever say I thought what I drink is fine? No. I know there's better stuff to drink, but I can think of 1 million better things to do with my money than spend it on liquor that I probably won't get to drink most of. What makes you so good at selecting alcohol? Or is it just because you know what you like and it has a higher price tag it makes you more educated in the finer liquors...eh, no. You my friend are an elitest **** who needs to get of their little Johnny Walker Blue horse and realize that the price of liquor doesn't matter, the taste does. Asshat.

Smirnoff because some other wines and liquors don't appeal to me. I like a natural taste followed by vomiting.

I can't afford all the stuff I like - so I drink good beer instead...
But that reminds me of a story...

My best friend likes single malt scotch (you know, significantly more expensive than the typical blended scotches) - so I bought him a bottle to take the next time I saw him. As I was getting ready for our annual ski trip, I couldn't find it. I looked all over the place. My brother-in-law sat there, watching me look for "the bottle of single-malt I had bought." Finally he said, "Uh, was that scotch? I think I drank it."

You know, I didn't get ANY public recognition for not killing him...

They say it all the time, so I think it's a good thing.

I mean, wine coolers are good enough for me, beer tastes disgusting, but if it gets you what you want then go for it.
