smash where are you? i need some insight on Michael Moore's film here. Got any leads?
not being distributed yet as far as I know, miramax still looking for a distributer after Disney told them they wouldnt move it, and miramax bought the film rights back from Disney.

The film is currently set for North American release on 6/25/04. The only people who would have seen it by now are those who were at the Cannes Film Fest and some other select groups who got to see previews.

OUTSTANDING! Everyone tell all your friends not to miss it. Rare live footage of the Iraq war. Michael Moore got a few teams of film crew to go out with troops and acted as the "media". Oh boy they were pissed. Some, maybe most of his points during the movie may be hyped.. but some of this is BEYOND interesting. I can't believe he got an organization to do that before the election. He's gonna get captured and "taken away" soon.
Download it from a French eMule network. I did. It was cleverly edited, but nothing groundbreaking.

I've been waiting to see this documentary for sooooo long now! I can't believe there is actually copy floating around on p2p networks...I'll see it soon afterall! Was it a cam or telesync version Smash?
All I have to say is that Michael Moore is a dumb S@#t. I saw bowling for comlubine...very very bias...he presents to you certain facts, but doesn't present other facts. He shows you what he wants you to see to make things look horrible and awful. Not saying that none of it is true, but he takes only negative facts and information and presents them to you. Just like the news and other media. You can count me out on this movie...

altough i think that michael moore can be a little overzealous at times i also beleive that some of the things he does bring to light are dead on. roger and me and the awful truth shows are a great insight into alot of ****** up stuff our country does. bowling for columbine was a good film that was biased but so what... of course its going to be. all documentaries are.

I saw the Bowling one too and even though I didnt agree with all of it I would reccomend it to anyone because of one section. That is the school footage of the guys with the guns walking around, creepy errie and worth the price of admission in my book its in like the first third of the movie and you are welcome to stop watching after that, I had never seen that footage before and wow did it give me chills.
I'll probably watch it. Bowling was mildly interesting to me. I don't take anything Mr. Moore dishes out without a healthy does of accompanying salt, though. Then again, I look at all of the media and see spin applied to everything they present. Sadly, Fox is the best of a shabby lot. They at least admit to taking sides from time to time.

You realize that it's not a group of French people that vote for the prize, right? Quenton Tarrintino doesn't strike me as an Icon of French anti-Americanism.
