The sudden accidental death of a friend of my family prompted me to tell each of my family and friends how much I loved them, and all the things I liked about them, the next time I saw them. You know, just in case. Also, I like to write a little message in birthday cards, beyond just "Happy Birthday". Things I admire about them, or happy memories, or things I think they are good at or brighten up my life with.
When my sister went over to live in Malaysia for 8 months I kissed her and told her that was just in case she died over there.
Luckily my sister gets me, and and beamed back a glorious smile.
It's so strange to think that Kyrin is dead. I was only just getting to know her as a poster. She was lively and fun to have around.
