I'm talking about my mobile phone though, and I never listen to voicemails because it costs me money.

Ok, I'll admit I do it too, but only because I have the heroes intro as a ring tone.

But that's still messed up. Stop doing it.

I got one for you:

If you ask for a phone number, write it down as opposed to dialing it during the call in a shameful attempt to mooch off of redial, or at least have the decency to warn the person you are talking to so that they don't bleed from the ears.

#1 Rule: If you ever get the urge to call someone during a movie/concert/sports event/other kind of "show", for the sake of all that is good in the world, go outside the theater before making the call, damnit! It absolutely boggles the mind how so many people fail to do this.

Can I add:

Stop calling me while you know I'm in class, I don't care how cool you think you are when you're high. My Math teacher won't find it funny. Smiley: glare

Or you could just turn off your phone during class.

I usually do, but sometimes it turns itself on. Plus, We do stupid pranks like turn peoples phones on and then call it. Grr. It's fun when it's not you.

You using a PacBell phone from the 60's?

Every cellphone I have ever handled (I use about 15 different models everyday) doesn't make a sound over the line when you hit the keypad.

What is it with the kids these days and the texting during movies?

I swear, last movie we saw there was no less than four kids sitting around us, and the harsh glow from their cell phones kept distracting me. Smiley: glare

The last time I was at a movie and some snapperhead was trying to use a phone I turned around, leaned across the seat, took it out of his hands and turned it off then told him he could have it back after the movie. When he started to object and get out of his seat, I stood up and he decided that, since I was a lot bigger than he was, it was probably stupid to get into it over a phonecall. All I said was "if you have a problem with that, take it up with management". He took his phone back and didn't say another word the entire movie.

I don't get that either, Unless it's a movie you don't want to see. In which case, why are you there?

Ditto. There are many better things to do in a dark movie theater if you're not going to watch the movie
