So today I decided to fight maat for his cap. I had the luxury to fight him at level 75.
I read some guides on how to fight him on brd. I did not like any of those guides. Most suggest SV paeon, mambo and stuff like that.
I wanted to go full melee style with minuet march and make the actual fight as short as possible. Imo the shorter you are engaged during any maat fight the better. I don't want to give maat time to do silly things.
I went in, sleep tp, blink band, food, SV songs.
I pulled with finale. The log speaks for its self.

It took a lot of time to prepair and make the macros. But it was worth it.

My accomplishment is kind of negative :/. I started leveling brd 2-3 months ago, and along the way I saw this other guy who had it at about 50some. I've held a grudge for about two years on this guy and swore I would beat him to 75 even if it killed me. I never told him, but I dinged 75 just a few days ago, what a weight off!

Nice to get the drop, the model is unusual and the dagger is going to go nicely into the off hand in my melee set. Now I need to get hold of a Blau Dolch for main.

I was able to finish my BRD AFs last night. I had a couple of people helping me with NM fights and Castle Z coffer. I was able to solo some coffer mobs on my THF to get the key, and then looking for the coffers. I'm a relatively new BRD, but I love /nin and pulling. I will be hitting 60 tonight so I can put on the AF hands. I hope to be learning more from you all that frequent this forum.
