Please forgive me if this topic has already been brought up in a different post.
Last night I saw a lvl 50 something BST running around in Konschtat (spelling?) with a Tiger Familiar. I know that this is a lower lvl area and he might have just felt like using his tiger cause it looks cool...but, it made me think that the familiars levels increase as the BST's increases. I guess this would be saying that, for example, the first jug's lvl (lvl 23 Rabbit) only means you have to be 23 to activate it, but the rabbit's level goes up with yours. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong...

Good question, Ithink they might lvl up with you cuz at lvl 28 my hare/sheep/crab familar are doing about the same damage that I do to mobs. But what I don't get is when I'm hunting in Qufim an even match clipper will fair better against a tough giant then my tiger will and i mean much better the clipper can almost solo a tough giant. Whats up with that?

I have not tested extensively, however I have found that I can still throw my lvl 22 jugs at 30+ mobs without them getting completely owned...although they dont do particularly well enough to be used regularly
be nice if jugs were more for having the right beast to go against the right mob...str vrs weakness etc
