What mob drops this? What level is it? I was told it was in giddeus and I know the area there are usually 3-4 high levels camping. Alla doesnt list the weapon, also doesnt list the NM that spawns there as dropping it.
Hoo Mjuu, The Torrent drops this item. It's level 16 or 17 (I forget which) and it's stats are as follows (to the best of my memory, which isn't very good, because I haven't been able to get one of these yet.):
Type: Staff
Usable by: Almost all the classes. Certainly all the ones you'd want to use a staff with.
Dmg: 14
CHR: +8
I know it adds to your MP and HP as well, though I don't recall how much it adds. It also has an effect on some of your other stats. It's -5 to something. It'd be really cool if someone could post the full stats of this thing, because it's a pretty amazing weapon, especially for a beastmaster. (Charm w/ staff.. wait.. wait.. let pet die.. macro equip axe. Go finish enemy)

Don't get too hopeful,
I've had 2 BST who needed this (one a galka...he NEEDED this...) and frankly have given up all hope of ever owning it.
I spent many many days camping this only to have it provoked literally from under me before I ever even saw it on screen.
The fact of the matter is that despite knowing specific times, pop points, and proper macros for nm hunting it is still all but impossible to compete with a JP player whos been padding his bank account with this item for over a year.
Thanks Square/Enix for throwing us NA players onto servers where we will ALWAYS be at a disadvantage...
