Here's the thing, another day at camping Valkurm Emperor. I was camping right after maintenance, and had 1 competator so far, a lv 58 hume female ranger. This is my story.

My question, am I within my right to hate her forever, or was I wrong? My name is Balthazar btw, and her name, obviously, was Gabryella. She also wore 3/5 rng AF, and 2 pieces of gear worse than Noct +1. Her Bazaar text said that she had 10 75's. My gear was based on evasion, as I was soloing a bit.

Second question: Are all rangers like this?

really? are you really asking that question? do you know how many rangers there are?

anyway, /blist add gabryella, problem solved. you won't get along with everyone you meet in this world.

Some people have no real fashion sense. :(

I read a few lines before I drew my conclusions.

1) Grow some thicker skin. People are going to harass you in life, oftentimes it's just something petty. Complaining about it won't gain you any true sympathy, so move on.

2) Stop listening to teachers or anyone else who tells you to expect people will treat you kindly. People are jackasses, whether they be co-workers, bosses, family members, etc. Fynlar pointed out the most obvious fact, that the camper was playing head games with you. And you fell for it like a sucker.

3) You didn't last long in the PUP forums, either. People generally don't like stupidity, which is rather ironic, seeing as we are all stupid at times. Yes, you were dumb to fall for it. Classic camping strategy. Have one person heckle the competition, while the other stays alert for claim.

Lastly, I wish the admins wouldn't dump sh*t (that's cursing, moron is not) posts like this on the RNG forums. Couldn't it have just died where it was originally posted?

Maybe the admins had an early Christmas party, and shuffled a few threads around while drunk? I mean, Milich has been posting lists of great beers recently, maybe they bought some and brought them in to work?

Although I guess it is sorta nice to see new threads in job forums, even if they were transplanted.

OP, grats on your pin. In future, when camping NM's you need to have thicker skin, otherwise you will find FFXI a distressing ordeal. People are dicks sometimes, regardless of which job they happen to be on at the time.
