Forget the archer knife theres a better knife out there that Ranger/Beast master only its called the Hawkers Knife

Couple that with as NIN with a Fransisca and it's a good combo. However it seems the Fransisca drops off a lvl 70 mob.. so it'll be a while before anyone gets that (rare/ex).
I also heard the Hawker's Knife was rare/ex, but I doubt that's true. But until someone finds out where to get the Hawker's Knife, Archer's Knives still reign supreme.

hawkers knifes, those things sell for 100k,pretty steep.
the fransisca is okay, if you want to use axes...but archers knives are still better...cant wait to figure out whos head i have to severe to get these

Not all that steep, if you compare it to other things a RNG should be using. The high level bows are 60-90k, not mentioning bows like Eurytos' Bow (2.5 million). Emperor Hairpin, 200k. Leaping Boots, 200k. 100k for those kind of stats is actually pretty sweet, especially at lvl 30.

I'd rather use a Fransisca in one hand and Hawker's Knife in the other. I havn't started my RNG yet (need hairpin/boots), but when I do I'm lvling up my Axe skill for that weapon.
I'd rather have +7 R.Attk and +18 R.Acc total than +22 R.Acc. Plus those AGI bonuses.. mmmm.... /em drools.

Fransisca in one hand / Hawker's Knife in the other would be a good combo, youd still get a good +ranged acc bonuse and youd be able to do some damage...

This Fransisca sounds pretty nice. It's tempting me to raise my axe skills a bit.
I just have a guess on the Hawker's Knife (and that's all it is a guess). Over on the western side of Valkrum I found a cave while doing the Bard quest. Turned on widescan after entering and saw some Goblin Hawker's listed as some of the mobs. It's a long shot, but maybe it's a rare drop off of them, or an NM in that area.
I didn't stick around since I've found in MMO's, "If you don't know what it is, it will probably be able to kill you easily"

The area that you entered is called Gustav Tunnel, of the Vollbow region. Hawkers are of the Damselfly class, and they're great experience for levels 38-42 (along with the Hell Bats and the Tier 5 Goblins in there).
We have killed tons of Hawkers in there while xping, and still have yet to see a NM spawn.

Archer's Knives are a mob drop, I don't know if you can synth them. It's a possibility, since the names are similar. If Archer Knives can be synthed, my guess is the Hawker's Knives are HQ synths.
and with a Fransisca / Hawker you would do more damage...

hmm be pretty funny if hawkers knifes droped off guivre. even though he only drops some damn skull.
I've seen them on sale in Jueno. I've also seen hawker knife +1. I don't remember the price, but...it was a lot.

hawker knive is a synthing recipy, where the archer knive is one of the ingredients, another one of the ingriedients is a NM drop of which name I cannot remember. (kinda tough NM though)

Yeah, and what lvl craft? I know hawker's are synth because the only way to get +1 is synthing.

yes and that costs 600k on my server ( 3 million for the + 1 version) compared to 10k for the archer knife.....

I think most people will be sticking to Archer's Knives for quite a while before any are buying Hawkers or Hawkers +1. But if I could afford it, I'd get them too.
Hawkers knife is Wind + Archer's Knife + Dragon Blood + Beastmen Blood + demon blood..i think.

Last time i checked on Siren Hawkers knife was 750K/each, if you guys have that kind of $$ /praise /panic motion ^_^
I have dual archers knives atm (lvl 34) and i hit 18/20 on ITs and if 750K is gonna give me 1 or 2 more hits / 20 shots <Thanks for the Offer But I'll have to pass> I already draw too much hate.

It's one of those 'best of the best' pieces of equipment. I plan on getting one (750K isn't that much for a weapon you will use for the rest of your RNG career), but would much rather have the +1 version. Does anyone need them? No not really, but how cool would it be to walk around with Hawker's +1 equipped :D. I'd be proud to own one.

I don't plan on buying that bow, why would you waste your time saving up 2.5 mil (price on Diabolos)? The NM is only lvl 63, and I'm sure could be taken down without much trouble by a group of mid 50's. I plan on camping for my Eurytos' Bow.
And like I said, Hawkers +1 is a 'just because' thing. Why do I want to spend 750k for +1 on two stats? Just because.

HAha, i guess you never fought a Dark Elvaan before. Your will need a full Pt. of lvl 70+. Even the Ka i fought has a special attack doing 500-600 and i've seen them use it 2 time in a row on a dead paladin. Not even going to think what the Shadows cold do.
