The notes on the quest were very accurate and easy to follow, and I am now a ranger... leveling up again... rrrrrawr!

(=^.^=)

Level 7 so far, had subbed my thief job but now subbing monk for the hit points. Eventual plan is to sub red mage for en-effects and bind...

Fun so far, except for the aggravations of starting over once again.

Oh yeah, have to add these words to the wise. If you're ever thinking about becoming a ranger, SAVE THOSE WIND CRYSTALS! Also, bone chips and flint stones, that'll get you started on arrows. Arrowwood logs are sold in the carpentry guild in Sand Oreo for about 12gil a log, don't pay those 120-200 gil prices I see in Jeuno and Windurst. ESPECIALLY since you still have to shape it with a wind crystal to make it into lumber. 100 gil for the arrowwood LUMBER, not LOG, is probably about right in a pinch.

Just leveling from 1-7, making my own arrows, brought my woodworking skill to 3. I made a nice workbench for my mog house as well.

I can use bone arrows, and whether I use them depends entirely on how much yagudo fletchings go for in AH. Since they require a clothcraft of 33....

I have had to buy wind crystals and clusters at AH several times, I just don't get enough of them while exping. Expensive little hobby, arrowmaking; but cheaper than buying them.
