I was just wondering if the ranger's passive ability that reduces emnity, as well as the items that add to it, are used when:

a) Seeing if a mob aggros you to begin a fight

b) Checking to see if a mob starts attacking you in a fight

Basically, will having the -emnity items allow me to do more damage (draw more hate) before actually getting attacked?
