New JAs and Spells Fresh Out from SEFollow

We tested it out…
Readily Rearm*
 →After taking approximately half of your current HP in damage, your damage output increase by over 20%!
  (This is also reflected in weapon skills it seems)
  Additionally, while under the effects there is no decay over time)

Absorb-ATB* (Absorb attributes)
 →Used in conjunction with Nether Void you are able to absorb two status effects.

Just in case, we confirmed with the lead dev. once more and he said that they are finalizing the adjustments, but as long as there are no major problems it will be implemented as stated. Yay!

Looks pretty win.

Now if they just add a way to steal a haste effect from a mob directly, as in without them having haste on, DRK would be absolutely set.

It's already been posted. But I rated you up because the board is so dead it could use a new topic.

I'm not sure how viable Readily Rearm will be but playing chicken with a mob to increase your damage fits DRK perfectly.

Absorb-ATB has the potential to be huge if it works like Aura Steal.

Break is eh. Blizzard III is eh.

Over all this stuff sounds good though.

If it added a set % of Haste while inflicting a set % of Slow to a mob that would be cool. However after the Last Resort buff I think SE is done regarding Haste and DRK.

So Readily Rearm... I can get my face smashed in by some weaker mobs then be pimped out against the NM we fight next? Either way, all the more reason to skip on seigan and shadows. My WHM is going to hate me.

Blizzard III and Break were expected.

Abs-ATB sounds awesome. I bet empy+2 legs will allow you to steal 3 buffs and I wonder how Mythic Scythe will work. While I really never see it happening, if DRK got Abs-Speed, a mythic DRK would be insane.

DRK could really use a form of magical haste to remove the need for BRD to reach max potential, or to just compete in Abyssea.

Anything that can enhance Catastrophe on higher end mobs has my full approval. Here's to hoping it's at least got a berserk-like timer.

At first I was like 'Meh, needs 50% hp lost for as much damage increase as mab trait 1?'

Then I noticed it wasn't just magic attack bonus.

But if absorb spells not decaying is being tied to -that-, unless I can fulltime that ability anyways (And then why not make it a trait?), I don't see myself casting absorb spells much more than I do now anyways, which is mostly just when I have tp for sh*ts and giggles.

Vague and I might be reading too much into it, but meh. Not terribly excited about this update for my drk. Mostly excited for blu, with some secondary excitement in terms of blm (breakga ftw, want comet, etc.). Jury is out on pup, what's been announced so far is meh but on patch day they're probably gonna be like 'Ohhai, heres some attachments too', so I'll have to wait and see on that.

Back on topic, the new update for drk is nice, better than 85->90 was (lol arcane crest), but I don't feel like it's the game changer drk needs.

Would love to test that JA out on Wamouras. Their heat barrier has spikes and enspell. If we could steal both that be cool.

That new absorb is pretty hot against any mobs with any offensive boost tp moves, as those are generally broken when mobs use them.

That damage JA would be awesome ~IF~ (a pretty big if) it worked with dread-spikes and potentially SE. As in the damage you take during D.Spikes would be converted into damage boost, and / or the damage you take during SE would be converted. Then you guys could really tear **** up, not like you don't already though.

Yeah that's the problem I see coming. 20% increase when at 50% HP (not just having taken, get cured and it goes away) which totally conflicts with out AFv3 set bonus too.

I hope I'm wrong, but SE is retarded like that.

In other news, DRK pretty much just got Dispel. RDMs shall rage everywhere.

The way they explained it was that SD would "charge" like a WHM Afflatus, and the wording on the JA seems to match it.

But then I remember the grindan, and all that I'd need to do to get my drk up to speed, and think: **** that.

no grinding (well, hesitate to say NO grinding, but it's EASY grinding and you can make moneh doing it) and only have to deal with retards if you're retarded enough to do PUG.

We purposely let our ninja die so we could switch claim. The linkshell watched several people act on the NM before we incited the round of death. Then when the first person died, the NM went white, but not passive when they followed up with a provoke. Avoidable, yes- but wasn't really necessary to protect it since we didn't need drops.

I'm excited to see the ToM expansions. How much greater still will my Apocalypse become compared to Empyreans? What will the "new expanded attributes" on relics be? They said they would add more than just DMG and ACC/ATK to relics, and I'm hoping it's at very least another 25% damage boost to Relic WSes.

What will happen with my 2-4 GS?

Rumors are swirling that its another 7-10 damage increase in base weapon, another 5 acc, and this time 50% WS increase. Add that with Atma of the Griffon claw and the new JA we are getting, OMG here comes 5k-7k WS with 1/2 that in healing lol.
