I'm planning to fight Maat within the week to knock it out of the way. Maat's cap GO! Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone here has fought the old bastard using Atonement?
I kinda feel bad for him. Reprisal, Homam, Askar, Joytoy, full sword merits, etc. Maat doesn't stand a chance. :P Because this fight is mostly for fun, do you suppose I should just walk in there and own his ass? I'm a bit weary of Maat because of how uber he was on RDM when I first defeated him. I suppose PLD Maat should be a joke to me considering my gear and tools, right?

I fought him a couple of months ago and Atonement makes this fight very easy. I won on the 2nd WS, and my pld gear isn't great as I rarely play the job.
Fighting Maat as a 75 PLD (especially with your gear) will be a total joke.
Not only will Atonement be taking off huge chunks of his HP, it'll go right through his Invincible (if you have TP when he uses it).
He's not so tough with a useless 2hr

Eh, kinda overkill. Though yeah Atonement would make the fight a joke.
