So... does this mean Retaliation is tied to parry?Follow

I was out skilling GA when this happened.

So, does that mean Retaliation is somehow tied in with parry....? And no, wasn't a double attack, animation was a single bite.

Edit:

Had to change out the picture, tried to edit it via ZAM and it borked.

you dont actually need to parry to skill it up now, it can get skill ups even when you dont parry. was a couple of updates ago iirc - same goes for everything else too - guard on mnk, shield skill etc etc. it's nice i like it, altho it kinda unrealistic (yeah unrealistic in a game i know!)

It's more like, you tried to shield/parry/block, but you missed and the mob still got through. Skilling up on a missed block is like learning from a mistake, because nothing teaches you to not get hit in the face quite like getting hit in the face.

Well, be that as it may, I got about another 5 skillups on parries immediately followed by Retaliation attacks. I am not complaining, it just seemed REALLY odd and coincidental to happen multiple times.
