so i was out and about after a long time gone and an nm doll beat my *** up in upper delkfults, never seen it before totally new to me. long story short i rounded up a posse handed some beat down revenge and got the axe.

what i wanna know is can double attack proc on each swing like fortitude axe? during one of my fights i got a double swing followed by another double swing with out the weapon delay.

here is the wiki link so far it make for a fun toy to just whack stuff with but with/sam i have been able to ws fast enough that if possible to sc ga>ga i would have(forgive me if ga can but i know rr>rr does not)

thanks in advance since i never saw anything about this axe i figured i would put it out there.

my bad. my timing was off i guess. been looking up sc and found some now to try see if i can do it

If this is like most OAT weapons, then no, you can't proc DA on the extra swings, nor can you proc extra swings off DA.

What you likely saw based on your description was simply two rounds, one of 3 hits and another with just a single hit; your normal weapon delay is not paused by additional swings, so if the animation of extra hits causes the entire duration of your delay to elapse then you'll immediately receive another round (get a kclub or play a MNK/WAR with full haste gear+buffs and you'll see what I mean).

no, it cant proc like fortitude can. what you saw was probably this:

double attack
single attack

or simply:

triple attack
single attack

btw, kinship axe is hands down the best gaxe in the game for skilling up

thanks for the responses i guess it was a double swing that bled over into the weapon delay followed by another double hit. i know it wasnt a retailliate proc i had checked the log a few times. what really threw me off was they fact that during that attack round the back to back swings were faster than the multi-hit itself.....i dont know how do describe it really wish i had windower i would have posted the picture.....the time in between the mentioned strikes was the same amount of time between the the swings of OAT. but it dont matter in the end it is a fun *** toy to farm with and ***** around wish my dancer was high lvl i bet war/dnc with this could be an ok solo combo with drain samba and the tp gain.

so i can say that war/dnc with this axe is fun as **** being able to ws and imediatly after have 50-60tp is nice, drain samba2 cures for 30-100~ an attack round depending on the number of swings. after looking around i found that dnc cures rely on chr and targets vit or something along those lines, i suck at math, here is the post,;mid=119637903955898488;num=7;page=1

would that mean that kroenig would be good for macro pieces for soloing and lowman tanking for cures and such and if so how much difference would they make with all the vit and chr they offer? currently when i toss out cureing waltz 2 i get a return of aprox 174~ if i can bump that up to 200+ a shot this combo could work awesomely for me and soloing/duoing with my drg/blu friend.

really looking for some people who are good/decent at math to help me out to whether or not it would be worth pursuing the gear with high+chr/vit for war, as an after thought while getting ready to wrap up post another question popped into mind which i don't fully grasp would the added vit help or hider the cure ie would i want more chr and less vit or is stacking a bunch of both the right direction.

thanks again for your time....and effort for those who pump out some math for my it is greatly appreciated.

Indeed, your point is rather well substantiated. However, your mum

Second, that's not how spell animations work. We wrap our arms around our faces and magic beetle shadows and sh*t fly at the targets.

if you duo with kinship axe WAR/DNC with your DRG/BLU friend, you're just slowing the fight down. s/he shouldn't need you to help heal anyway, and you'll need more healing anyway b/c you'll kill so much more slowly. just posting to make sure you realize this. fast swings are fun, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's a useful weapon.

With the drain samba mechanics this axe should generate a nice amount of heals multi hit weapons and ds II/III are crazy effective. When I solo using Ridill/shield its retarded how easy it is to keep my hp up on war and drk.

# Drain amount varies between 1 and Drain cap, where Cap = floor(mDelay*3/100) where mDelay is modified delay after haste, slow, etc. Verification Needed See discussion.
# The HP acquired from the mob does not do any additional damage, it simply restores HP to the player (similar to Blood Weapon).
# Cannot drain more than 1/2 damage dealt.
# Higher level monsters will drain for less.
