I would 100% use Imperial Ring over Ulthalam's in Assault, it's leaps and bounds better and I can still keep the better TOAU ring.
Like saying sniper+1 sucks cus there is divisor and you can get more DoT from that(even if we are talking about ~+0.1%).
My point(just to finish with this): saying that "something"
sucks when it's better(even barely) than the average AH stuff is misleading.
I have nothing else to say.
I can't spell the names of the taou rings, so I'll just called them by mage ring and melee ring. the third option is nonexistent.
Mage ring serves a purpose in and out of assault areas. Outside of assault macc+4 on ring is highest possible and very good for a lot of things that don't require int or mnd. Inside assault you get that, mnd/int and refresh on your fingers. that's comparable to eating the cheese off your fingers after eating chips; it's simply refreshing!
Melee ring is not that good outside of assault, several options are better or nearly the same for a cheap price. In assault it's better than most options but not by as large of a margin as for mage ring vs other rings, it still can be out classed by imperial ring.
If you don't have a mage job now, you will level one unless you quit the game. I guarantee it.
Divisor Ring is not better than Sniper's +1, it has white box going for it. the intrinsic worth of white box is comparable to real stats, like acc+2. So if you see someone in HQ tiger rings, consider the white box to be acc+2 and whatever garbage stats is on it.
