Question on Magian staves...Follow

Let me start by saying that ToM has become the bane of my ffxi existence in the last few weeks. Anyways...

I see that there is an att and an acc staff for each and that the +4 stat is better than the HQ staffs but the +1 stat is equal to the NQ staffs.

What I'm confused about is where the ice staff with INT+6 and MAB+10 and the dark staff with MP+75 and Macc+16 fit into the spectrum. To me, it looks obvious that Macc+16 > Macc+4, but I'm not really sure what the magic affinity stat is referring to. :(

Would the Macc+16 staff be better for sleep/aspir/drain than the +4 dark macc staff? Is it below the NQ staves or somewhere in between? And, is the MAB staff comparable at all to the current elemental staffs and M att magian staffs?

I would love to just pick up the Macc+16 staff to cover all enfeebles. Separate staffs for BLM SMN and BRD are really going to take a toll on my inventory.

But you still need Dark Staff for hmp. I start my elemental staves tomorrow on smn so i have them when blm hits 75.
