Anything that doesn't run faster than normal speed, you can solo the same as any other job.

Kite and dot with nukes mixed in. Sch just has the advantage of enhanced dot spells to make it a little faster.

SCH/NIN using Desert Boots + Sandstorm should easily be able to pull Despot to the pool kiting area, and you could make short work of him with Helices while kiting around the pond. A duo with another SCH, RDM, or BLM would make it a total joke.

Would NMs such as Faust or even Zip be out of the question for SCH solo? Has anyone tried?

Sch can take down Despot with great ease and you can do it /rdm. If he pops for you just gravity and take to the pond. No movement speed needed and Mp should be no issue with just your af head. Despot is so easy to kite cause of pathing, it really is a joke.

Edit:

Faust from personal experience with him would have to say no. Zip on the other hand I have been wondering myself. I mean with a really good set up on Sublimation, nuking, and enfeeb hmmmm. I mean rdm nuking can take it down in 10min 35 sec. (Rog) then maybe you could actually push enough dmg out of your mp pool + sublimation to take him down before he could kill you.

I am leveling sch now and when it is done I am wanting to try but if someone
else decides to try please post what you found out.

There's a lot a SCH can solo, but I don't think anything that hasn't been done before. Basically anything that is slow and or won't grow heavily resistant to Gravity/Bind. IMO if you want to do kite solos then invest in H. Gaiters that way you don't have to waste MP on Sandstorm and it opens up stuff that might resist Bind.

Cheese Hoarder Gigiroon - Just kite him around the center room with the 4 pillars and make sure you cast something on him before he runs off again.

Iriz Ima - Bio 2 and nuke as you run around. Its slow enough to kite without +Movement. Just watch out for Barrier Tusk, it takes about a minute to wear off.

I'm sure a lot of other ZNMs I just haven't done any others.

Despot - If you have to use Desert Boots then just bind him when you need to recast. Bio2 and nuke when you're at the end of the lake where you won't get magic aggro. Nothing special.

Genbu - Same as Despot just bring poison pots. Run away from Wateraga 3, Nuke during Poisonga 3 and Flood. You should be able to get 2 nukes out during Flood and still get away without it landing. You don't need +Movement gear Genbu walks slow already.

Ullikummi - Shell IV and Standard gear should be enough to eat Banishga 3 without taking too much damage. Goliard and relic body will help for this fight. Since you kite around the teleporter you don't "need" +Movement gear but it doesn't hurt.

Edit: Apollyon NW - I dunno if it can be won by a SCH but I assume with some luck it would be possible.

I don't think Zip can be done the reason I say this is you would kite it up and down the stairs which means getting hit so you'd need /NIN but you'd also want Bind and Gravity so you could get away once it catches up.

Despot doesnt need to be kited to the pond if you are uncomfortable with a smaller area to kite at. When I first started killing him I would take him back to the Pincerstone steps and kite that big circle, nuking him at the bottom of the steps while I was standing at the top. After about 10 solo's of him, I started getting confident and just stood where I popped him using gravity and bind. With merits and gear, enfeebles never miss. I wouldn't use /nin for this, as he will land more than 3 hits if he gets close anyway.

Like you said, the Uggi Pendant mob is easy and boring...definately possible for SCH or any job for that matter. Similar to that of Kaiser Behemoth, get your casts on the corners before he starts casting. Soon as he starts casting your spell should land and you need to GTFO. Any sub for this, I believe I have done it as /rdm and /blm.

NW Apollyon is one of my favorites, as it actually requires planning and a pretty good luck to win. If you have done this on BLM, you will love doing it on SCH because it is so much more consistent. I generally get 25-30coins every 3 days, and can win 3 out of 4 attempts if I have a chip buyer. Keep in mind you need to conserve MP as much as possible, and always remember to burn your 2hr in case 1st mob pops portal. Skip bosses. Alacrity Bind makes behemoths easy. Kaiser just requires practice. Start casting as he is 27ish ft away and by the time he starts casting meteor you are already running. Aspir, Bio2, Drain, Cryohelix can kill him in ~20-25mins if you dont nuke at all.

NE Apollyon, not so easy, not so fun. I did this one back when I was on a solo kick. After about 5 tries I got a lucky run and won. I think I ended up spending maybe 100-200k in meds and got nearly nothing in return as I had no chip buyer (didnt think I'd win).

Zip is possible if you can gank it all at once, which is very possible, just very dependant on if gravity lasts or not. If you can get helix on to start, then 5+ nukes he should go down. If you try to outlast him, you will not win. Again, /rdm because you will need gravity and bind.

Ul'yovra just requires you to outrun them and keep DoT on. They will lose hate after about 30seconds of running. /nin might be best here.

Dea is another ZNM you could try. Pull him to the tower that goes to whitegate. Generally, using only Helix, Gravity, and Bio I can get him to 80% by the time hes at the tower. He starts resisting Gravity after a while so I always start using only Sandstorm and DoT once I am at the tower.

Once at the pond, you can straight nuke him once a helix is applied, no need to make the fight take longer. just Gravity nuke him down like any other doll.
