60SCH/RDM: Bibiki Bay F-7, Goblin's Rarab. Welcome to the life of a nuking mage. The majority of BLM and SCH (and a ton of other jobs) use goblin pets as their main source of xp. I did BLM and SCH in a month each on Goblin pets alone, without having to worry about party invites. Now you can still get 5-10k/hr while seeking rather than 0k and alot of boredom.

BLM and SCH have a difficult time seeking as a nuker job past level 40; and it's pretty much dead past 55.

SCH however can seek as a healer just fine.

I did however; solo about half of my way trough the 60's. Campaign, beastmen pets, and Chigoes/Qiqirn's fueled most of this.

You will have to vary your strategy due to lack of Ancient Magic, but I know a lot of Scholars who have soloed this way 20-70+.

If you do not have much experience with soloing this way, be prepared to die a bit until you get the hang of it, or practice on lower level mobs first.

@wildsienna: nah, at OP's level, /WHM would be preferable for main healing, since /RDM doesn't have SS or Phalanx yet.

@SayzarL: Stoneskinga and Regen 2 make you an extremely potent healer vs Lesser Colibri. Sync down a few levels (but not below 56, or you lose Stoneskinga!), grab DD x5 and go to town. Obviously, getting a BRD or COR would be better, but exp should be fine without one. DD-build PLD is also quite nice. Should be easy to form your own parties, if invite rates are slow.

I solo'd the majority of my levels. I got invites all the time, but if 30 minutes into the PT didn't net the EXP I wanted, I gave my regards and went back to soloing.

SCH invites didn't slow down for me at all, however. Even today, if I'm on SCH and I pop my invite flag up, I get invites about 3 per 5 minutes. This is both for manaburn and meripo, so I usually don't have any trouble doing whatever I feel like doing.

One thing I'll say, however, is that the main reason I get so many invites is simply because of the reputation I've accrued over 7 years. *without bragging as much as I can avoid it* People know what they're getting when they invite me, so they don't hesitate to do so.

I'm not saying that maybe you have a bad reputation on your server, but perhaps it's simply not developed. Hang in there, you'll get an invite eventually. I, like others here, highly recommend soloing while you seek. You'll be surprised how easy and fast it is.
