Now I dont keep hard data. Cant really parse and do good testing on a PS2. But being rdm was my first job to 75 and now with sch at 75 I have some understanding of mage gear and attributes. Magic Acc is a very hard to pin point stat as far as my understanding goes. Which begs the question of SE to just tell us what the hell the stuff does...But whatever.
Now I decided to get the Cobra Unit Gloves. I have master casters, errant but coming from rdm...I rarely nuked. Since I dont do endgame too often. I noticed a slight difference but honestly the errant kinda outweighed it. I started to get depressed.
Then I decided to get the feet too. And then I noticed something. My helix spells, my nukes were all doing 10-20 points higher on campagin mobs and puddings. Thats all that had changed in my gear. Replaced errant, and elvaan rse feet with the two. Which makes we wonder just how much the MACC is. I decided for kicks to grab the hat too, noticed a 2nd not as noticable increase.
Overall tho, until we figure out what the MACC for the set is. You're going to be taking working on faith. I'm sure its probably going to be a nice boost, esp for the set to lack any INT or MND.
I would go for it. But not the whole set, definitly two pieces since they are offically the easist of our options to get. I got my head in two weeks. Mix em, match him, Yigit, Zgear(if you like sky...>.> Hate it!).
Im happy with mine. Plus the mp and hp bonus is nice.
