RDM update stuffFollow

DEX +6 > 12 attack with CDC for hands.

The helm would be a good idea but it's a top tier SCNM and I really don't feel like building a set. My current plans have me working on a maat's cap anyway.

Dex +6 > 12 attack on feet, the 10 acc is meaningless now due to the sheer amount of acc already built into the set. My WS acc already surpasses my TP acc, and monsters don't suddenly gain more evasion for when I WS. Food selection largely is based on TP acc now, so if I hit 85~90% in TP gear then I'll be above cap in WS gear. If I'm hitting under 85% in TP gear then I'll be using Pizza and capping acc on both, if I'm hitter really badly then I'll be using sushi and capping acc on both.

We really need some good +DEX and +Atk pieces for WS.

142 Dex total in WS set. Anything with 92 or less AGI and I'm capping dDex crits on. Bravers drink is +20 and my Atmacite is +10 Dex +10 Attack +4 STR +5 Acc +2 Regain. 152 ~ 172 DEX caps my crit on even the T3 VWNM's.

CDC is a ridiculously good WS, makes everyone go O.o when they see a "RDM" do those kinds of numbers.

Are you counting acc on the feet? My above assumptions were that your already capping acc due to all the other +acc / DEX gear present. Thus it came down to 6 DEX vs 12 attack and the 6 DEX won out unless you were forced to use sushi / no food. My food of choice is usually Bison Steak for 600+ attack, not too many things I don't get really high ratio on after Dia III is taken into account. At 641 attack (food no other buffs) Dia III provides the mathematical equivalent of 112 attack. But I agree dDex really depends on your target, you have a very small window (dDex 40 ~ 50) where Dex gives an amazing bonus. Assuming monsters have an Agi of 85~95 then you need 135~145 to cap it out, which is what I'm aiming for on regular monsters. I feel this is one of those area's it's best to go over rather then under.
