Naaaaa, it's all about Avesta. SE is trying to show us that you pay attention to our celebrities in game. Let's face it, Avesta crossed all boundaries with both the JP and NA/EU regions. That's a legend and any good legend is good marketing tool for a company. It's why Air Jordan's still well sell today. You seriously doubt that +15 to those magical skills and MACC isn't paying homage to Avesta? C'mon get real.

It was funny how in FFXIV they made reference to all those "Clouds" and "Seperoth" clones from XI. It's not a coincidence that these gloves are exactly what Avesta himself would use when he soloed had they been available. I realize we have some people that idolize our own RDM soloing masters which is fine. The bottom line though is that Avesta is relevant to everyone who plays this game, not just a cult of RDM fanatics on a ZAM forum. I'm more amazed how far people will reach citing a wiki definition than the obvious which is so more rewarding. Like it or not, one of our fellow RDM brethren has made so much of an impact, he has his own gear. No matter if you don't like him or not, that's an impressive feat.
