Here we go, yet another "I want this" thread. Consider yourself warned.
Dancer can't take a bit hit, that's been a common complaint of mine, and yet I recognize that we need a few limits to keep the job from being overpowered. However, given dancer's quasimagical nature of being able to use tp to produce physical abilities (weapon skills and more) as well as magical abilities (waltzes and more), we have every reason to expect our abilities to go decently into both the physical and magical realms.
Dancer cannot protect itself against magical hits natively. It gets some protection from /nin, of course, but that comes from an outside job. I would like to see one of three different ways to overcome this:
1) New Steps: Physical Attack Down step and Magical Attack Down step.
2) New Dance: Fan Dance except it does Magic Damge Taken instead of Physical Dmage Taken.
3) New Merits: Fan Dance gets proportional properties in Magic Damage Taken, 1/2/3/4/5 --> 20%/40%/60%/80%/100%.
