I was wondering if the Shadow Belt is really worth getting for Evisceration. It looks like it works like a Gorget. I currently use Cuchulain's Belt for my WS piece, so I don't know which would benefit the WS more. I do not currently have a gorget, if that makes any difference in the decision. I'd just rather not try to get help camping the NM if it's not worth it.
edit: While on the subject, is Rudra's Storm affected by the gorgets? Since it's aligned with Dark, it should work with Soil/Ice/Water/Shadow gorgets?

The rule is Lv3 SC property for relic/empyrean weapon are "special". They can make SC based on the similar special-Lv3-SC property, but can't be enhanced via elemental gorget/belt by decomposing the Lv3 SC property.

Edit: Ok let me see if I got this.....although it's Darkness Properties (being able to make Darkness with it's self) since Distortion is it's "B" SC Properties Aqua/Snow only work on it?

A few people have actually reported that Darkness/Light properties are enhanced by Shadow/Light Gorgets/Belts respectively, I think.
What he means is:
Distortion = Water/Ice, so Aqua or Snow Gorget will work
Darkness = Water/Ice/Earth/Dark, but all those gorgets/belts don't necessarily work.

I understand that in terms of elemental properties what the SC consist of but what I'm asking is come Earth/Dark doesn't work on it when Darkness is it's main Property?
You posted as i was editing my previous post so not sure if you saw it or not.
So when it comes to Level 3 Property Weapon Skills.... Only the "B" Skillchain's Properties would enhance damage? (See previous post above)

Yes, this is what I meant, except my version of your "don't necessarily work" is changed to "will not work".
I haven't tested it again, but the testing was done when Rukenshin got his Amano back in 2006
You can see in his LJ that Flame gorget doesn't work, but Breeze Gorget work even though Tachi: Kaiten is Fragmentation/Light.
That means the Lv3 light property can't be decomposed to wind/thunder/fire/light property and hence the gorget will only work to the Lv2 SC property

Yeah, but iirc there was testing done since then with Shadow Gorget and Wildfire that showed that Shadow/Light gorgets work for tier 3 properties.
