Its best to wear either Life/SH or Swift/Rapparee, imo.

Got Pyrrhic Kleos with the help of my 85th floor plate

Joyeuse mine! I logged off at his pop location for maintenance today, and when i logged back on he was up! My friends rushed out to help me, and we got the claim. We wiped at about 10% due to some poor use of Divine Waltz instead of Curing Waltz IV on my party, but we reraised, rested, and went at it again. Victory the second time!

Hit 75 DNC Yesterday +10k exp + 3 merit points.. yeah it was a long day >.<

I always have to give big props to people who solo hard stuff on DNC (which is why I leveled it btw), but I must ask...with the stats in sky did you do straight fighting or a fight/DF/run away and heal type deal? Also if you could post a lil about your gear just for my curiosity XD

I just straight tank everything. The only time I ever have any issue with stats is that silly AoE stun move. I've yet to die from it but I've come near dying (lowest was when I was at 4HP and the next swing by stat missed me! lol).

The biggest thing to know about soloing stats (and almost anything) is to save violent flourish for when :ni is down and you go to cast :ichi. Violent flourish is an AMAZING ability and well worth using as much as possible! Especially when you decide to play around with Amemet and run out of shihei at 90%! Lol. (Btw, yes I blood tank solo'd Amemet on Dnc! You learn to turn when you think he's gonna TP as to miss that petrify move.)

As for my gear, it's absolutely nothing amazing. Gear only accentuates skill, but it does help. Just have a clear mind and put some thought into how you're gonna solo the mob.

Off the top of my head, I cast ichi and ni in my haste setup which includes: w.turban (I use it over mu purdy li'l denali bonnet for obvious reasons), dusk hands, dusk feet, swift belt, rap. harness, and various evasion skill+ pieces.

My full blown evasion setup consists of: Azoth, O.Hat, SH+1, Praefectus Gloves when applicable, Evasion Torque, AF1 Feet (I can NOT find Emissary Boots!), Boxer's Mantle, Denali Legs, and Scouter's rope.

I would list my haste/accuracy setup but really it's roughly the same gear as my evasion/utsusemi gear, heh.

Dancer is amazing job, sadly there isn't a whole lot I can upgrade to at the moment aside from denali hands (floor 60 HATES me!) and some expensive pieces like Avalon Breastplate. I hope this clarifies what gear I use when soloing those silly IT mobs!! (^-^)

Ding 70! I've been playing SCH a lot lately, so it was refreshing to jump to DNC and do some suicidal tanking in Campaign for a change (I love that stuff xD). Ended up doing a bit more of that than I was supposed to, and dinged. :D

FINALLY a proper DMG knife! @.@ I'm also wanting a Joytoy THIS bad, better start hanging out in SSG and pray that I can get help for it when the time comes. ^^;

Juuust finished Haste Samba merits and working on Reverse Flourish. Got an exceedingly good meripo so 3/5 RF merits done thankfully. Hooray for merits you can actually see increasing!

Nope, sure didn't.

I still get blind invites/Random invite tells for merits as I hit 75.

70-75 was hard, but not overly hard, especially if you're syncing to imps, DNCs aren't a invite priority then.

Grats, I hadn't realized dnc can wear this till I saw you with it in campaign the other day ^^

Thanks, I like it a lot...instead of hitting campaign mobs for 10-11 I'm hitting for 21-24 :P And 5 more days and one more eval til I get my Cobra Cap and Mittens ^^
