Hello all,

I am relatively new to PUP, I currently have the job levelled to 79 on Shiva. (Playername: Aelason, look me up :D)

There is just so much information out there, I don't even know where to start. I have never gotten to endgame (recently returned player after a year), so I don't have a basis for what is "Good". As far as I know, the Aurore set is the best set of gear I've ever had :p

That being said: What should I be aiming for? Should I focus exclusively on attachments? What gear is "basic and required" for all puppetmasters? I.e. Puppetry Dasantas + Buffoon's Collar for maneuvers.

I also have no idea which Magian trials to do or anything else, its all very overwhelming :p

If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. I've been reading through the threads, but its hard to sift through whats outdated with what is new. If there is a thread I can learn a lot from, let me know!

I'd start off by doing the magian pet: mab path, you can do it from start to finish in a day or two.
It's great for blm head and has a high base dmg to use while you work on another weapon.
Ideally you will want to work on Verethanga, but if you feel that's out of reach the str path magian is also great. You might also want to make the pet: pdt weapon too for when your pup is tanking.
Armour wise, get your full cirque +2 set asap, you should be able to solo at least 1 nm that drops each seal, and with a bit practice solo some of the mobs that drop the +2 items
Try to get pantin dastanas and think about upgrading them to +2 which give haste +4% to you and your pup
Attachment wise, grab all the cheap ones that are on AH, most of the troll drops, ob drops and crafted attachments are <50k on my server, its only the ashu talif ones that are expensive, I've only bought turbo charger, optic fibre, dynamo, and reactive shield and the last 2 were cheap.
