was just playing ff13, my characters all had poison on them, main character low on hp, the medic kept casting esuna, he would not cure me while characters had poison on, I had to switch to medic myself to cure me otherwise would have died.

it all makes sense now.

Your medic must be an idiot then becuase my medics won't raise or esuna unless everyone is 90%+ on health that is already alive.

They're also supposed to prioritize the party leader should they be below a certain %, even if someone else is lower. But mine don't always.

Pretty sure that *mostly* has something to do with the ATB gauge; if they already selected an action and are waiting on execution, they continue in that even if you hit hard very shortly thereafter. Could also simply be AI bugs.

I am thinking AI bugs, funny thing it only happened with poison though, and my medic when through three rounds without curing, just casting esuna. so soon as he clearned all the poison the mob poisoned me again and he kept casting that.

just found it interesting considering the Whm AI. Maybe SE actually things status effect removal should be take precident over cures, because who wants to be cursed or poisoned in the afterlife.

I really can't help but ask why this thread was sub-defaulted? If nothing else, it offered a bit of anecdotal comedy.

*edit* this makes me question more as to what the point behind the karma system truly is. (I know, I know, easy moderation.)

If I had to guess it was partially a knee jerk reaction to seeing an xbobbobx post, though rightfully so.

Nah, i think it's because everything you say is negative and not really constructive in any shape or form. Not to mention you keep cussing people out when they don't agree with you on something no matter how small.

Everyone (well... most) think you're a douchebag.

Does working in IT support for a retail HQ count? :P If so you're psychic!

The rate-ups in this thread please me. :)
How is a sub-default topic still so popular?

What I got out of this was...

"Hi everyone I'm a **** who works at McDonald's, I couldn't pass English so I couldn't get into college, and I make myself feel better about my horribly pathetic life by insulting everyone, but in turn make them feel better about themselves."

Sorry to everyone else for the use of the word ****

TBH, this topic should have been posted in =22 anyway. I thought about reporting it to have it moved, but I figured it would die after the third post.

I could honestly see this as having inter-forum relations. While it mentions FFXIII primarily, the anecdote is blatantly obvious as pertaining to PUP.

As far as xbobbobx goes, I rarely pay attention to anyone's name when I'm browsing the forums. The only real times I make notice is when I'm referencing or speaking to someone specifically. However, xbobbobx, the retail comment is amusing. Really. I'd venture that most of the "lurkers" here fall under that category. On the other hand, I'd say that the majority of those who make viable posts are quite the opposite. I myself work as a laptop repair tech while running a recording studio. My job is hardly retail. Regardless of where I work, however, if you say something that makes you look like a jackass, I'm gonna call you on it.

So.....

You said you can guarantee that you're more successful than anyone on the boards? right..... but you won't disclose what you do for a living because everyone will call you a liar anyway!?

You said you have no respect for the people you are addressing..... okay.. cool.

You said alot young people in here have no clue, what you saying is that they fail in life and are classified as the dumbest generation ever! hmm okay..... And this is based on? You got anything to backup this statement?

You pretty much generalized that parents who play a MMO are bad parents, and you don't care this is a **** forum anyway.

And pretty much if people disagree with you its to make themselves feel safe and secure.

I mean from reading all this I can guarantee that you live in your grandma's basement jerking off to hentai **** and possibly a pe-do stalking under-age girls through web-chat.
I can gurantee what I said is true but I won't disclose what I do for a living. I mean,
You'll probably call me a liar if I said I am FBI. But I'm right and you are wrong if you disagree with me. i mean in time you will know you are wrong.

At the end of the day, it is just a forum. Also, at the end of the day, people are entitled to their opinions - you have yours, I have mine, and the next poster will have theirs. If I personally don't agree with something you've said (Or anyone else for that matter), and I feel it should be voiced for whatever reason, then I will. If other people disagree and they do the same, so be it. But when push comes to shove, most of the forum generally don't agree with what you say, because most of the time you talk **** or don't actually think about what your saying.

Bob wrote:
I have said on this site things like, the population is declining, they will do a server merge within a year. Responses I get, you are a moron, population is growing, you know nothing, and sub-defaulted. So what happens? Exactly what I said would. People don't want the truth on this site, they want to be lied to, to make them feel better about themselves.
2 things about this comment: First off, I like how you left out all the things you were wrong about ('I don't see any boost in SP damage since the H2H update!' being the last thing I remember you posting with eyeballing as your justification.).. I'm not gonna lie, you do have moments where you bring up valid points or make logical comments (Like the Bonecrusher thread), but thats a rare thing for you, Bob.

Secondly, if the community does like to be lied to, so they could feel better about themselves, then surely PUP as a job wouldn't have made even half of the progress it has. All of the hours of testing and number crunching and gear comparison threads are all there to make us feel better? More like its there so people know how to play their job better. You say people like to be lied to because countless times you've said something that you've felt is trus with no evidence or support and people have called you out on it.

Bob wrote:
many of you feel you are right, but you aren't, and in time, you will be proven wrong. but only time will expose that truth
Feels to me that you're talking from personal experience there...

Finally, if we're all a bunch of moronic idiots that do nothing but talk **** and love to be lied to, while condeming such genuine posters such as yourself, then why are you still here? My guess is that you like argung with people. The amount of times I've seen a debate going on in these forums and then you chime in with an ugly hostile tone thats not needed, and THEN turn out to be wrong yourself is amazing...

But at the end of the day, me posting all of this is pointless because even if you do bother to read it, I'm sure you'll have plenty to argue about and the posts will keep on flowing. Hey, after all:
