So, so happy ^_^

This not only completes my +1 set, but of course it is an awesome TP piece (I think Aurore is better for WS, assuming capped acc, don't you think?) AND saves me around 2M gil, since there's now virtually no way to overload in a practical situation: I've tried several times to go Ice*3 (applying each maneuver as soon aspossible, too) just 10 seconds after activate, and I haven't overloaded once. I could overload if I started the Ice*3 just after activation, but it is not only unnecessary (have to wait for deactivate timer, anyway), but also I completed Ice*3 quite frequently even then.

So yeah, it's awesome.

Body is cake if you do Koios, he is an easy solo on PUP/NIN, never saw a 2 hour in the ~5 times I killed him solo and the ~10 times I killed him in a party.

It doesn't, didn't even use it once when I fought it on earthsday.

If you don't feel like doing Koios, You can also spam the quest. Quickening and Hermes Sandals makes a single run of it (back to the Maw, if you aren't using Warp) about 5-6 minutes per. It's pretty quick and you can build up seals for other jobs. I did it this way and got enough seals for pretty much all the jobs on the list before I got my Farsetto. So while it's nice it can drive you insane too!

4/10 on body seals, having bad luck since I soloed Koios and got two seals with no yellow !!. Twilight belt recently as well. Just went 1/3 on Cirque neck last night triggered blue !! on my first try the third time and got the drop. So much fun just murdering that NM with three other Opo-opo trying to kill you at the same time and them being unable to hit you. Fire Taipans at the DMG 19 stage now, going a bit faster than I thought it would.

0/about 100 for me on a pair of Sune-ate with ANY haste.

Although I'm messing around with my best pair of the Haidate, STR+3 Acc+3 with a VIT+3 augment, and I may start using them in my PUP WS set. In Abyssea, Surge Subligar (what I've been using) are Acc overkill. I'm already getting tons of Acc from Atma and other gear that I wouldn't consider switching out (WS Anwig, Sentry Belt, Kemas, Cirque+1 feet, Mirke, etc.) so Surge are really probably giving me the benefit of only Atk+6 in Abyssea. I have Cirque+1 and those would be slightly better (Atk+7), but still not that impressive. STR/VIT+3 seems more useful to me. Gonna try it out for a bit...


As for my achievements:

- Agasaya's Collar. Running through Attohwa and literally ran over two friends who were duoing the T2 VNM, invited me for fun. Got blue, and they gave me the collar since neither of them needed it. Very lucky, thanks Myloko/Crimsonfire!

- Cirque Capello +1. Yeah I'm late.

I guess getting stage 1 Mantis is an achievement, I'm on the worst phase ever though... hate the frog.

Third LS Uleguerand run's a charm... Burattinaios get!

First run we got all procs and he dropped everything but the weapon.

Second run we had no T3 pop and were busy with other stuff, leaving not enough time to work on upgrading a T2.

This time we started out with a T3 pop and Ogopogo as our first order of business. It got ugly, as blue was Hexa Strike and our weakened WHM (who was also trying to help keep tanks alive) had a hard time getting TP and didn't have temp items. Once she got the Hexa in for blue, we had a lot of weakened people and it was looking a little nasty so I popped a Brew, beat Ogopogo down, and got the drop and Atma (a lot of people missed it on our first win due to getting a little surprised by his 1% HP suicide Tidal Wave and the ensuing chaos).

Yes, I know it's plenty winnable with no brew - we beat him brew-less our first attempt as an LS. I don't care either. This was a special occasion and called for a special drink (kind of like breaking out a bottle of fine wine). Well worth the 200k cruor.

Awesome night of Battle Trophy gear (Kokugetsu set) last night...

I have traded, no exaggeration, over 250 tier 5 trophies trying to get the mythical haste feet. In that time, I had seen haste in any amount only once, and it was Haste+1 (trashed). Until last night... Haste+3, Subtle Blow+1 along with the base STR/Acc+2 stats. My new TP feet.

Then once I didn't feel the need to use my trophies for feet, I tried a few hands... and got Acc+8 augment, meaning my new Acc+10 STR+2 hands are a pretty solid Stringing Pummel piece (especially outside Abyssea). I might still use my AF+1 hands (for STR+5) in Abyssea, I'll have to play around with them.

Then I got a body with Acc+2 Crit DMG+3% augments. Tough for me to decide between Cirque+1 and Kokugetsu now, I'm thinking Cirque+1 for TP and Kokugetsu for WS (at least inside Abyssea).

dont loose faith, i got haste +2 on like my 20th trophy. still trying for +3 tho.

We'll fix that this week... Shiva's not that bad and I could use more COR body seals. I'll tank it on MNK with some healing support. Ogopogo may be a different story though, gonna need reinforcements there.

Also I hate you I'm like 0/364 on haste shoes...
