I used to think that daze was really powerful, until i partied with a ranger in a 61 colibri party. He had the best gear possible including an Ebow, and lets just say he was tanking more than anyone else, even while holding back, my daze was doing around 600, his sidewinder 1-1.5k (ok, so this doesnt happen too often, but yea, rangers can do ALOT of damage if they really want too.)
Oh, and my achievement is i capped magic skill for my level.

I had a great setup on a RNG party, mostly LS friends
RNG DRK COR BRD PLD SCH.
Both me and the COR ended up having a competition for highest WS digits, both of us hitting 1.7k on sidewinders or slugshots. iirc I won by about 10 points of damage lol. RNG is Fing awesome.

1) Out damaged a Ranger friend of mine buy such a wide margin that he went and bought CP ammo and was /shouting for advice on how to macro it in whitegate.
2) Got Cure V and Howling Fist in the same party. That has to have been the biggest power bump I've picked up on PUP in a single 30 minute span.

I know Armored Gears can, but if his element was the one I was using, I just wouldn't deploy til he changed. And luckily, that didn't happen very often.
