Corsair
Miser's Roll (Lv. 92)
Grants "Conserve TP" effect to party members within area of effect. Lucky Number: 5. Unlucky Number: 7.

Companion's Roll (Lv. 95)
Grants "Regain" and "Regen" effects to pets of party members within area of effect. Lucky Number: 2. Unlucky Number: 10.

So Conserve TP and new Pet roll.
A bit underwhelming but I guess a combo of Tacticians and Misers would help the WAR proc red quicker in low man setting. If COR got invited to low man settings.

Pet rolls have always been Meh for me since I've never been invited to a Pet job party. But for some of you that know a lot of BST's and PUP's, you might get a kick out of it.

I would have used Companion's Roll when I went out to help my BST friend who was soloing NMs the other day. Beast Roll + Companion's is a nice set for a BST when there's no need for pet accuracy from Puppet Roll. I see a place for this one.

Conserve TP roll is pretty lame. Never going to beat Regain, and it's probably more worthwhile to use another DD roll in any case. Fighter's or Samurai seem more useful than Conserve TP even from a TP-focused perspective.

At any rate, I hope these situational rolls are cheap. They really don't need to be 100k+.

Don't hold your breath. All the post 75 rolls have been in the 100k range and I only use Tactician's and Casters with any regularity.

Well, they did reduce costs significantly from the constantly increasing cost scheme when Dancer's and Scholar's Rolls released. But yeah, looks like everything these days is hovering somewhere around 100k. One can still hope.

Bolter's is one of my most used rolls :)

Blitzer's is great for 1h/h2h jobs, including COR meleeing. Blitzer's/Rogues with crit atma for 1handers/h2h is actually very effective. I also find it useful if I'm running around soloing easier stuff on COR/DNC for whatever reason (did this a lot while working on ice magian trials).

Allies is situational for sure, but has one valuable niche in that it's an excellent roll for Primeval Brew (e.g. Wizard's+Allies for Aeolian Edge or some other magical WS that can SC with itself). And saying "yeah but you can kill anything under brew" misses the point that the faster you brew a tough NM, the more time the brewer can save to lock timer on a conflux/martello and keep popping more NMs to kill under that brew.

Overall I'd break the 76+ rolls down like this:

Highly useful: Tactician's, Bolter's
Regularly useful: Caster's, Blitzer's
Situationally useful: Allies, Companion's
Rarely useful: Courser's, Miser's

So this update is a little underwhelming, but overall not really that bad of a range of new rolls since 76. Though I'd hope to at least see one more really good roll in the 96-99 range.

WHy ar eyou guys complaining about gil?? It practically rains from the sky these days. Convert your cruor to gil, or dominion points, or just cleave for dark rings. Complaining about price is roflsauce, kinda like these rolls.

Or you can go farm in Dyna or WoE, can easily earn 1M a night.

It's less a complaint about not having gil as it is just a matter of principle that obviously very limited use rolls would cost more than our most expensive options. Probably going to have to toss 200k at these for completion's sake and never/rarely use em though. I'm still not sure why I bought Courser's, but I did it anyway out of some bizarre sense of devotion.

At any rate, I'm still fine with the breakdown of rolls from 76-90. 8 rolls being pretty well distributed on the spectrum from frequent use to "never gonna use that".

Yes there are many easy ways to earn Gil in game. Still doesn't make me want to spend it on these rolls.

And I agree that Bolters is a great roll. That with Casters and Tacticians are the newer rolls I use most. Blitzers very rarely as I still find more utility in fighters rogues chaos and Tacticians.

I'm suprised we didn't get a crit dmg+ roll, would at least be better than lolConserve TP. It still prob would'nt get used much, but at least it would have some utility, unlike Conserve TP.

Well I actually hope they will adjust the potency of some of our rolls next update. That would be far more exciting than the addition of these two rolls.

Seriously, Evoker's, DNC's, Hunters are all woefully bad at this stage of the game. Basically anything with a static bonus vs. a percentage based bonus is getting a bit too weak compared to other support jobs.

Just change Gallant's Roll to -PDT and you'll hear no whining from me.

The bad part about this update is that it's the first level cap raise we've seen with no rolls that could be considered regularly useful:

* 80 cap: Bolter's Caster's. Nice update. Two truly useful rolls.
* 85 cap: Blitzer's Courser's. One sucky roll, and one that might not be considered top tier but still has some legitimate uses for 1h or in parties without a BRD (Blitzer's/Rogue's is good stuff, and remember Tactician's didn't even exist as an option at 85cap).
* 90 cap: Tactician's Allies. One AWESOME roll and one rarely used/highly situational roll.
* 95 cap: Companion's Miser's. One awful roll, and one highly situational pet roll.

In the first three cap raises, even with some duds like Courser's/Allies there was something to get excited about roll-wise. In this update? Neither roll is anything to get excited about. Hopefully they'll make it up to us in the 99cap update ;)

Gallants as a -PDT roll would be sweet.

I agree we should hopefully get a better roll or two from 96-99. Wouldn't it be great if we got two god mode rolls. -MDT, -PDT, Shell, Haste, Protect, Regen "Mighty Guard" type roll and an MAB, MACC, ATT, ACC, Regain, Refresh roll. THen we'd be super buffers for sure lol.

For now 91-95 is going to be meh unless they buff our current rolls and add that 3rd roll capability.

Something I think S-E thinks of as a "god mode" effect... annul or absorb damage. Like the annul effect on Shadow Ring/Mantle, and the occasionally absorbs damage taken from Atma of the Savior. S-E might think it's too much to give for a COR buff, but if they really wanted a super high end roll at 99 (or some sort of new merit roll?), maybe that's something they'd look at.

Yeah, something like:

Lucky: 10% chance of annulling damage
Unlucky: 1% chance of annulling damage
11: 15% chance of annulling damage.
