75 Ding! Took a while but finaly made it. Had many compliments, and some great pts on the way. Most of which I was /rng, but recently /nin a lot as mobs move a lil faster. Yes I did pull in almost every party, but I had no problems keeping rolls up, and have kept a few high chains. Next.. go camp my joy toy, and begin my melee build.

Ding 70!, I can melee now and not look ridiculous ^_^

@10k to 74 and scored my Light Gorget. 4 merit points stored up to start unlocking those nice group 2 merits.

I've gotten some nice things for my cor in the last 2 weeks :)

*Crimson Finger Gauntlets while finishing up a kirin pop set.
*Comm. Bottes in a Bastok money run (not the best, but still nice till AF+1)
*Joyeuse yesterday! Got ToD the night before, skipped work so I could camp during window, killed it after another LS wiped on him ^_^;

Now I just need to finish my last 5 levels. :)

Pretty good xarc tonight. Ended up getting 2 hats to go freelot putting me at 4/5 COR. It's my next job I plan on taking up after DRG gets 75. Now I have something to look forward to. Just need the boots to drop and I can store the set till the 70s.

I'm not usually into the achievement threads but....

Got captain today, all 50 assaults beaten and with all five T10 wins coming with me on COR :D. As far as long-term effort and eventual achievement, I'd put this up there with beating CoP back when CoP was really tough. Honestly, the t1s thru t9s weren't that bad. I'd guess at least 41-42 of them we went 1/1 on. The t10s were pretty brutal and definitely took some skill to pull off. Some of them (hell all of them) I can't really imagine doing without MNK and Magus rolls.

Better than One (cerberus one) was our last one to beat. Had a NIN tank with evasion skill setup. Worked really well on the cerb's attack up mode (which came first). NIN was barely touched (MNK and NIN rolls on him at this point). Survived the Gates of Hades mode with no stunner (Magus ftw), got thru the lava spit mode. The 8 elems mode came last and (i was /whm), i made sure i had SS and blink up before he howled. diagaed all the elems nearby and for good measure dragged all 8 of them to the start. While i did that, 2 SAMs 2hred , got him to 4% but both died (other two members were RDM and BRD BTW). I die, hit RR and race back to the battle ahead of the elems. The NIN has maybe 150 HP left and I think the RDM was trying to raise the SAM who had TP. I race up to the NIN, hit cure 3 on him and follow with another NIN roll, all with 40 hp lol. I ran away just as he used Scorching Lash. I was in range and... EVADED!?!?! lol. I'm not sure why, I dont have much cerb experience but I dodged the move entirely somehow. Spun around, hit 2 QDs to get it to 1% and kept the NIN alive from there FTW!

Fun stuff lol.

Unlocked Fold, and am 13k from Snake eye. I can't wait to start buffing my COR into the sky.

after 63 levels I finally did 2 #number 11 hunters rolls back to back... i was impressed!

been getting a level a day mostly. I HOPE I CAN GET 65 TODAY!!!! only 5k tnl then pt broke >.>

This doesn't belong in the "Corsair achievement thread" as much as the "Corsair luck thread" but it's sorta a cool story so wth :P.

So I took over what was, at the time, a dying sky shell on Pandy. We literally had about 5-6 members who still showed up each week. we farmed but rarely killed gods due to numbers issues. But we had the good fortune of running gods at the same time as a JP linkshell which was also short on members. We'd already done Kirins jointly in the past but I was able to talk them into doing all gods witth us. And we survived and thrived for about 7-8 extra months that way.

On a side note, if the JP button is real, I've had a pretty good vantage point lol. Our JP friends once got 5 wlegs in 4 consecutive kirins (2 on the same kirin!).

Anyway, 4 weeks ago the JPs let me know they were finishing up with sky at the end of March and becoming a sea LS. I thanked them for all their help and knew my own group would be unable to deal with Kirin alone (we run at a HORRIBLE time lol... 8 am Sundays my time for gods). Anyway, we obviously had to spam our remaining Kirins to make sure we got them done. Last week (March 30) was supposed to be the final day. We had 3/4s of a kirin set but were missing Suzy. Everyone wanted to do Byakko (including the JPs) so we spammed him and passed up that last Kirin. Anyway, the JPs extended their sky run one more week because they had 2 sets left to use. We filled out our last set and got in a Kirin I never thought we'd have. Sure enough, Wlegs dropped and I got them =D. Was pretty sweet considering I'd pretty much given up hope of getting them.

Anyway, the alliance came to its conclusion today but it's really been one of the best things I've seen on this game. Both groups were able to do so much and gain so much thanks to the partnership and even though none of us spoke Japanese and only a couple of them spoke much English, we did some pretty amazing things.

I dinged 75 THF thursday, after going 14-75 monday to thursday lol. My COR gear is fairly decent for the stuff I use it for; I'm still lacking horribly in the melee/WS setups.

I need to start working on merits.

Was this morning (the 11th) at like 5:30 AM, after 14hours of working on ACP missions.

My final boss setup was sam/rng sam/rng pld rdm whm cor.

Basically, I put up RNG&Evoker's roll for everyone. Theres not enough space in that BC.

45 second quick draw is quite nice... very tough choice!

Now to work on getting that drone earring to have augment str +1 or +2 on it!

Grats on body just got the same thing myself. Good call on the drone earring hadnt thought about that.

Finally got Bluestreak to drop my Peacemaker, Got 2x ruby earrings from Ivory keys: One with Attack+2, Ranged attack +2, the other with Attack +3, Ranged attack +5.

Beat ACP ^^;

Went with RATK and RACC.

What did you have to pay? On Titan, the price is jacked. Since the beginning of February, 10 sales - 750k average price. 690k min / 900k max. Just throwing that out there to let some of you know how lucky you have it ;)

Never thought back in November-January that I'd be wishing for the price to go back to 400-500k levels...

After doing salvage on average 3 times a week for close to 9 months, i FINALLY got my first completion. My old group had possibly the worst luck on drops ever. Like 3/80+ on 35 NMs. New group seems to get a 35 almost every run lol. Anyway, after getting skadi feet 35s about 2 weeks ago, finally got the 25s to drop on BR win. Just gotta wait till jp midnight and then maintenance tomorrow and i can FINALLY say that I got something from doing salvage.
