I'd like to make a compilation if people would be so generous as to offer their insights. I know I'm not the only one who gets bored of the same thing day after day and I am hoping people would share some locations for each zone to successfully burn (be it Whisker or Gates, though I know nothing of Gates).

Multiple camps per zone(in case of overcrowding for NM pop people) and all zones would be pretty great. I don't have much to contribute due to my lack of experience in this, and light building has been the bane of my attempts so far. What success I have had though, has been in the Coast so I'll share what I've done.

Misareaux:
First Camp: Not solo friendly, but super easy to gain lights it seemed: 00, Spiders. I'd save this if nothing else is open personally because Athamas sucks but is manageable if you have heals. Spiders seemed to pearl often so we built lights on them quick and just decided to stay put. They are squishy but hit pretty hard.

Better Camp: Raptors. Everyone knows this one but this could be a problem if people are Sobek spamming. Unbuffed/No debuffs I was pulling 5100 CW's in my lolgear. Lost my puller so I began pulling, even with almost NO PDT gear it's easy, just don't overpull. They are at 60% after a CAEfflux WoR so I generally just hit BA->CW, no debuffs or drink. I built Pearl on Birds, ruby on Ephs. Went to camp with 50 pearl, still getting 10+ chests per pull.

---

Any more would be greatly appreciated and added to this post :D

If you're careful all these spots can be done solo. (Just get bigger pulls with a puller)
Mis: Frogs, crabs, lizards, buggards.
Tahrongi: bats, coeurl, scorps
Vunk: Bats, tauri, gargouille.

pretty much any mob that doesn't stop to cast and doesn't resist magic damage can be done with little difficulty at 95.

Just to add my 2 cents:

Grauberg: Crabs, Wyvern, Bugards, Puks
Altepa: Tiger, Dolls, Manticore (will be a mobile AOE due to being spread out), Dhamel's
Ulegurand : Raptors, Spiders, Golems, Gargoilles

I've always been fond of mobs that are in high density and link easily. There are tons of options, but I've always been partial to detectors (Ulegrand Range or Altepa) and spiders (the splat sound is an added bonus).

I would think you can do better w/ mobs that do not have movement speed+ instead of raptors. You can get bigger pulls.

I think the most desired parameters are in the following order:

Non-magic resistant
non-casting
linking
Dense population / small habitat

Thats about it. At this point in the game many, many mobs can be AoE'd well in Aby.

Thanks for replies. I know that generally you want to avoid movement+ mobs but raptors hit so weakly and the run is short. I'd stop mid area, kill them all, sneak, then pop chests lol.

Tougher things are mostly "which places have good groupings and no notorious monsters".
Like I want to do Altepa. Mandies are easy but if Cuji shows his face that could end real quick.

I'll update OP in a few hours with any other finds I've had.^^

When we farm CC/Sobek in Misareaux, we bring NIN THF BLU WHM, camp at the trap to the northwest of frogs. NIN and THF split up; one pulls all of the frogs, the other pulls all of the crabs, bringing them all back to camp where the BLU kills them all. 30+ kills every 4~5 minutes makes farming KIs stupid easy.

You can kill Murexes for Azure, Apkallu for Amber (16/kill, ends up being faster than chasing Jalas all over the zone and trying to Amber them), T1 VNM for pearl; we usually start off killing Minax Bugards for the KI you can't get from boxes and make sure we get Pearl from them as well.

Works great for the NMs too; NIN + THF melee them down while BLU uses Sudden Lunge / Head Butt / Whirl of Rage to keep them stun locked. Also, CA+Quadratic > Evisceration > Hi makes double Darkness, which completely wrecks them. Good times.

MACC is a joke, any job with access to mage gear can hit close the MACC cap on legion mobs, which is why my BRD/RDM can land slow/para/blind despite having only 150 skill (from /RDM.)

detectors in altep work fine. there is the chariot there but its easy to dodge. Puks can be done as well. That's all I've tried in altep.
