Hey, so I know this is awhile since anyone last talked about the benchmark but I can't get it to run =/

I just got a new Alienware M15x, Windows 7 64-bit, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850, came with Directx11.
I downloaded the benchmark, couldn't run without directx9, so I downloaded that too. Then I got the AMI Catalyst driver update from ATI.
Now when the Benchmark starts, it "stops working" immediately. I've tried a variety of things to fix it found within other posts on this site, but to no avail.
Is there any suggestions anyone could give to help about this please?

Maybe update your sound drivers as well? Thats the only other thing that would cause i to crash. That and try a driver clean of the ATI drivers. sometimes they are buggy and don't update properly.
