#1 Sep 22 2010 at 2:01 PM Rating: Decent
Hi, i bought the game on amazon and it arrived today coz its the collectors edition so its an 8 days head start, but i cant seem to install it coz everytime i click on the ffxivsetup.exe it says "Not enough free disk space. Installation requires 6GB of free space on the drive containing the My Documents folder. The installation wizard will now end."
I have got at least 70gb free space in each hard disk :(. Please Help!

Any chance you have an old version of windows with a "my documents" folder on a drive that have enough space? or possibly that the drive permissions are not allowing installation?

I haven't seen a fix for this yet, but you might try disabilng user account controlls and right clicking on the installation exe file and doign a "run as administrator"

Also may want to download speedfan, run the hard drive diagnostics and see if there are any red flags on the drive health.

Anything special about this hard drive setup? raid arrays, etc?
