Quite a while ago I bought a Linksys Wireless router. It came with a configuration software, which in itself was pointless, but I decided to use it anyway. Turns out it had a nice GUI for your network, showing every PC and other device connected to the router, giving it's IP, MAC Address, Name, etc. Linksys stopped offering this software on their website or any CDs, and I lost my original CD.

Very similar to the Vista's network topography feature.

I'm using XP though. Does anyone know of a decent (and safe) program that can do something similar to this? I'd just like to have a graphical representation of everything on my network (wired and wireless) that's easily accessed.

Although I have a copy of that program on cd at home, I personally dont know of another one like it. Since Im currently at work for the next 7 days, I really cannot help you either by trying diskcopy and uploading to an email or anything else I am afraid.

Do you happen to recall the name of the program, satrn? If you can then Tirith can probably google for a copy.

Edit: LANsurveyor gives you a 21 day trial, should give you enough time to map your network.
