So when I was backing up my files before I upgraded to Windows 7 I copied all my music files to an external hard drive. I didn't double check to make sure that everything copied over though. To free up space for the install, I had to delete my music folder (I had 22 GBs of music O.o). When I finished the install I copied it back over and I only had 8 GBs. I double checked my external HD, and sure enough that's how big the folder was, so somehow all of my music did not transfer over when I copied it, which really sucks.
My Ipod has a good amount of these files that I wasn't able to recover, however iTunes will only let me copy the files I purchased from them to my iTunes library. Does anyone know of a way to take the files on my iPod and upload them somewhere on my PC? All these files worked on iTunes before, so theoretically once I get them back on my PC they should work there again.
Nevermind, I found a program called SharePod which allowed me to transfer all the files over.
