FFXI - Crash upon opening?Follow

#1 Aug 01 2009 at 7:41 AM Rating: Decent
Hello, forum.

I have been playing FFXI on this computer for a long, long time. Suddenly this morning I tried to log on, and when I hit PLAY in POL, it opened FFXI but immediately crashed with the typical Windows "FFXI stopped working..." error. I have not changed anything on my computer. What's going on? Is this a common error, and if so, how might I fix it?

If you need or want system specs, you're going to have to tell me where to grab them. I am a semi computer noob.

Could this maybe have something to do with the July 31 update?

EDIT: I r smrt, i read stickies.
