Moving is not fun at all (Router Issues)Follow

Okay... Just moved to a new house, have Comcast again (which is a welcome change from Wave Broadband) and have spent the last two hours trying to get my Linksys router to work. I'm not sure where the installation discs are, so I tried to ping the router by connecting to 192.168.1.1, but instead of getting the setup stuff, I got a blank screen that says "Management Mode Firmware Upgrade" and has a bar for me to upload a file of some type (I'm assuming a firmware upgrade, which I don't have). All of the help guides that I've been able to find say that I'll get to the "Web Based Utility" if I entered the IP address right, but I'm just not getting the right screen, and I haven't found any guides that have anything to say about the screen I AM getting.

I've done the factory reset twice tonight, which seemed to take, I just can't get it to go to the spot it should be.

Any thoughts? Questions? I'd love some help.

My old router had the same problem. The firmware somehow got corrupted. You can get the needed firmware upgrade through the linksys site. Of course you'll have to plug in directly to your modem if possible. After it says the upgrade was a success reset the router and you should be good.
