FFXI on MacFollow

I posted this in the FFXI General Forum, then I remembered we have a Tech Support Forum for a reason =P

Recently my girlfriend has decided that she would like to take up FFXI. The only catch is that she, as the title implies, has a Mac and not a PC. My question is how do I go about installing FFXI onto her Mac and making it run properly?

I'm not going to go out and buy a new copy of Windows to make Boot Camp run properly because that just doesn't sound cost effective. Unless of course Boot Camp will run better than something like Fusion. I'm trying to go for whichever is more cost effective.

Have Fusion and other such programs worked effectively enough to worth the cost? Is it better to go out and buy XP/Vista to run Boot Camp properly?

I'm open to any and all suggestions. Someone just gimme a little advice on what to do and how to do it from here^^

Thank you very much!

Parallels will run it, however not well. . .

You are better off using Boot Camp for your XP / Vista applications.

Parallels works well for some things such as word processing but for gaming it's just not there yet.

Parallels (latest build) limits your GPU to 64Mb.
