Hey, so I just got a new laptop today, it's a HP DV2800 Artist Edition, looks very pretty.
Anyway, I'm installing my newly-bought Neverwinter Nights 2 + Mark of the Betrayer Expansion on it, or trying too, but am having some problems...
The box says:
NWN2: DVD-ROM Drive: 4X speed or faster
Expansion: DCD-ROM Drive: 8X speed
I'm assuming "DCD" is a typo and it should be DVD.
My new computer has: "LightScribe Super Multi 8X DVD+RW With Dual Layer Support"
The first NWN loaded and installed fine on both my old computer and my new one.
My old computer loads the expansion disc, but my new one doesn't...
My new one just beeps for a while like it's trying to read a broken CD and doesn't register it as a Game DVD.
I don't understand why, my old computer (which is lower spec than my new one) loads it fine without a hitch, and it's even had past problems with the DVD drive and had to get replaced... but my new one just wont recognise it!
Any ideas what I should do?

Image the DVD on the computer where it works, move it to the laptop, mount the image on the laptop with daemon tools or another virtual drive tool.

CD drives just dont like CDs sometimes. Ive had CD drives that wont read certain burned cds. DO what smash said, and should fix your problem.
