This LCD monitor I have worked for awhile but started to white out on me, I didn't really try to do any fixes because I still had my 50 pound monitor to fall back on. >.> Well recently at a party at my house someone knocked over that 50 pound monitor and now it won't turn on. So now I'm looking for answers to fix the LCD monitor. By the way, I am on it right now, it is just very dim and if I am on any other mode besides picture (Economy or text) there are lines running down the screen. Any suggestions? Someone once said something could have melted messing up a connection as a result of extensive use, but never said what to do to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not much you can do with a jacked monitor. Most of the time troubleshooting a monitor and replacing it is more of a hassle and sometimes more exspensive then getting a new one.

It doesnt sound like a bad cord problem so im just gonna say its reaching its end of life.

Best bet is to buy a new one.

You're boned. Explore warranty options or buy a new one. It's like $150 to buy a new 19", I'd go that route.
