POL- 1556 (was forum=10)Follow

I was trying to get on Playonline to reactivate my account and I cant seem to connect. I got the game and expansion packs installed, but now I can't get past the verifying in the playonline log-in. I get a POL-1556 error with a network 514 error message. Now I am trying to connect through a workgroup switch (kinda like a router I guess) with satellite internet. I am not sure if satellite is supported, but I have it working fine on my 360 and I was told that it wouldn't work there. Does anyone know of any settings I may need to change in the settings menu that may help me connect? As I said, I was able to temporarily connect while installing the game when it verifies the DNAS, but now I can't get on playonline. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I was going to eventually try it on my 360, but I actually originally had the game for ps2, so I was trying to reinstall it on there first. Anyways, I have no idea how to change ports and all that. I'll go to the website and check out what needs to be opened though. The only thing is that I'm not using a router, I'm using a workgroup switch. I don't know if that makes a difference at all, other than the fact that I have no idea if it has a website where I can do this. Thanks for the suggestion.
