need a cheap ISPFollow

Not game related in any way, but I am moving out of my relatives house and I own the internet here. I of course have a very high grade connection, costing around 50 a month (I think...I tend to forget details like that).

Since I am leaving, they can't afford to pay for the high grade internet I used after I leave and will cancel it, but they still want to have net access for email and basic web browsing. I'm also pretty sure their computer does not have a dial-up modem (we bought a very cheap office model, and it only appears to have a lan type plug and a USB plug). My question is this - what kind of internet can I get that uses a USB or lan type connection that is very cheap? I appreciate any replies, thank you.

Also, because I just realized this info may be helpful in this matter, the area they live in is Springfield, MO, USA.

You can do either DSL, Cable (lower package), Dial-up.

Yes Dial up is still an option as there are modems which you can install very easy or there is also USB to Modem adapters which also work well considering the transfer rates of dial up.

your best bet is to just Google search for ISP's in your area. I did a quick search and it looks like Comcast might be available along with CenturyTel it looks like.

thanks for the reply. I realized I could use a USB dial up modem like 20 minutes after I posted this, I felt kinda dumb for not having thought of it sooner. Thanks for the help though
