I'm getting random crashes as long as I keep my controller active on the PC version. It's a simple radio shack PS2 to USB converter. The type of error is one of those where it references a memory block and says 'the memory could not be "read"'.

I would appreciate anyone telling me if they had any issues with controllers...

They can cause trouble. usualy it's a bad controller chip. I've used this module without issue myself personally http://store.videogamecentral.com/unps2coadxor.html
