As of 2 days ago, my computer has been giving me errors when i try to use certain programs

Seen Here

and here

Gotten the error from WoW, Steam, McAfee, Firefox, and IE on occasion. I thought it might be a problem with connecting to the internet, but FFXI/Starcraft/DC++ all have no problems. I've run a virus scan, cleaned all spyware, done a windows repair, reinstalled SP2. Nothing has helped.

So I turn to people here, hoping to find maybe someoen who had the same problem, or knows Windows who can help ;_;

Could be many, many things. Has anything changed as far as hardware goes in your machine lately?

As someone has said in the main forums try sending in the error reports and see if microsoft has any good ideas. Their support advice with that sort of stuff usually boils down to "it's not our fault, must be someone elses hadware/software". Still, it's worth a shot though.

It might be worth updating your graphics card drivers, it might be worth making sure all your RAM and cards inside your machine are firmly in their slots. There's a chance your machine could be running too hot. Where to start /sigh. =(

I'm not sure about sending teh error report because this isnt a 'legal' copy of XP. Would they be able to tell that from me sending the report? I dont think anything has changed, but i'll check the ram and drivers.

No, microsoft don't get any information about you using a pirated version of windows when you send in error reports. There is a tool that detects that sort of stuff that they put into one of their windows updates but you can easily turn off those annoying reminders. Bill Gates is not going to turn up at your doorstep demanding money for his stolen copy of windows.

You want my honest advice for problems like that... start from scratch, back up everything you need, format your drive, re-install windows and see if you still get the same issues.
