Mkay. Today at around 2AM, something went wrong with my ISP, which unfortunately is AOL.

At first I couldn't access any DNS server and the only sites that worked for me were /. and google because I have their IPs in my HOSTS file.

Around 8 hours later, which is more or less now, the DNS function is back up, however while I'm allowed access to certain sites, a few are blocked. Particularly anything AOL related.

When I do a tracert to any site other than AOL, there is a HUGE latency spike at philadelphia.level3.net. Huge meaning from ~20ms normal to 250+ms.

When I try tracerting aol.com, however, it stops there or at something.atdn.net...

Anyway, the interesting thing is that one computer on the network CAN access AOL.com and all that junk...but every other computer can't.

Not quite sure what to think and I don't know as much about this sort of stuff as I'd like to know. Suggestions?

Oh, and anyone hear of any funky **** going on with Level3 again? Did they depeer someone again, like in October of last year with Cogent?
