Invalid POL registration code ; ;Follow

After searching through the first 5 pages of the forums and not finding anything on this topic, I gave up and started this thread.

A friend of mine bought a used copy of FFXI for PS2 and when he tries to enter the registration code it comes up with the following error code.After checking the accuracy of the code 3 or 4 times (including capitalization) I'm very sure that it was typed in correctly.

Is it because it's a used copy of FFXI? Is the code no longer valid because someone else used it? I'm hoping to get online with him later on tonight and go tag team some poor, stupid orcs or something.

I was afreaid of that. Too bad I didn't know about it before he bought the game, I would havbe told him to get a new copy.

Is there any way to get it to work or is it just a lost cause at this point? Hopefully he'll be able to get his money back or something...
