FFXI POL-1161 ErrorFollow

Hello,

This all started about 3 days ago, when I tried to update the small patch, I keep getting to the same point and stopping. After I log in to Playonline, and get to the update button, I get the Downloading Latest Version's Information and it goes to 100 % and then i get the error message pol-1161(server busy, check connections message). I have tried this about 50 times or so since the 16th, and have called the support line but they were not much help. I noticed that today from the playonline website, they did maintenance(5/19), and under description it said unable to Log into FFXI due to login issue as reason for maintenance. I use dial up, and have not had any problems for the past 4 months with the game or with my connection. I dont know what is going on, and I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions, or if I should just wait and hope things eventually clear up. Thanks, Chris
