Item collector quit collecting dataFollow

About a week ago Item collector quit collecting data. I've uninstalled and downloaded new version and installed it many times with no luck.

Now I keep having this problem about every month. It works for a few weeks then it stops working. Seems like it quit's bringing back data.

I've read your posts and I couldn't find anything to help.

I'm running Windows XP Pro Version 2002 SP1
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
2.1 GHz
1 GB of RAM
3Com Network Card
Driver Date: 8/13/2002
Driver version: 4.31.0.0

I have Bellsouth DSL & a Westell Modem
I have Norton Internet Security 2004 installed on computer.
Includes Norton AntiVirus and Norton Personal Firewall.
I have internet security options to Medium.

The program is starting but nothing is happening.
Nothing is listed in the Profile manager.
Please help.

What should my Profile Support name and path be called and located?

When the Item collector is running all i get is:
EQ Item Collection Engine v 2.01 (21.5) starting up...
Username set to: Kaeerin
Profiles enabled.

I'm using Memory-Reading Mode

Listening on 3Com EtherLink PCI (Microsoft's Packet Scheduler) .
Running in quiet mode.

Does it attempt to send or retrieve any data at all? Do you get any error messages on zone, or is it just sitting there with a grey screen? also, how long ago did you install Norton? did you recently clear your browser cookies by any chance?

That Westell modem is pure evil. I used to do tech support for BS DSL. Thousand of calls a day because that mode/router is crap.

Dread Lord,

I have had norton install before I install Item collector. Was working fine with norton. I cleared my cache and cookies after about 4 days this was after the problem started. I also unistalled and downloaded the newest version of Item Collector, but still doesn't work.

This is the message that I'm getting even when zoning it has a grey screen in the background.

EQ Item Collection Engine v 2.07 (21.5) starting up...
Username set to: Awgar
Profiles enabled.
Running in direct-memory mode.
EQ client found, direct-memory mode initialized.

Yes I'm still having this problem, which I can't get it to work.
I know a patch for EQ went in on 5/26/04.
Will you update and fix the Item collector toinclude the update and the problems with people using the Item collector all at the same time?

Sorry took so long for me to reply.
I was out of town and unable to play EQ.
I downloaded the new Item Collector on 6/6/04.
The new patch has worked for me thank you.
I'm able to get the data.
